Ladies, I am very happy to announce that we will be having a Girls’ Day Out on April 28th!  What could be better than one day fully devoted to fellowship with other women whom we love dearly or are hoping to get know, undistracted worship to God, hearing from God’s word, being encouraged in our God given role as women, and of course, lots of fun and shenanigans mixed in?  There are few things as sweet as ladies gathering for this purpose (yes, even the fun and shenanigans!).

The topic of the day is “Women by Design”.  God’s wisdom is reflected in gender.  We will hear teaching on the biblical foundation for womanhood and biblical application of womanhood.  If we want to know who we are and what we should be doing, we need look no further than God’s word.  In the book Female Piety, author John Angell James says,

The Bible is the best mirror by which most accurately to know what you are, and to become what you should be; before which you may adjust all the moral habiliments of the soul, and from which you may go forth adorned with all the beauties of holiness, clothed with the garment of purity, and decorated with the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit.
