The Family Schools Program of Covenant Life Church are presenting a homeschool conference to be held in Gaithersburg on November 4-5. This conference will feature two speakers: Debra Bell, the author of “The Ultimate Guide to Homeschooling,” and her newest book “The Ultimate Guide to Homeschooling Teens”; and Kathy Kuhl, author of “Homeschooling Your Struggling Learner.” Visit the Family Schools Program website for more information and to register. Congratulations to John and Cori Haughery on the birth of their son, John Porter, who was born October 20 at 11:37pm. He weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. Everyone is doing well. Congratulations also to proud grandparents Bill and Cynthia Haughery.
