I just got back this past Saturday from a week down in Gaithersburg for the annual Sovereign Grace songwriter’s retreat.  This yearly event has been a joy and an honor for me to attend, along with the many talented and humble songsters from our family of churches.  We spend about a thousand hours in-between shots of espresso sharpening one another and creating songs that will hopefully be used for upcoming CD projects.  What a great time.  I can do no better justice in describing what this event is like than what Mark Altrogge shared from the “Blazing Center” blog just yesterday.  Go here and check it out!
